One-to-One Therapies
Complementary, one-to-one bodywork woven quietly into a wider clinical recovery programme.
Acupuncture and therapeutic massage are complementary therapies that support the body through withdrawal, stress, and recovery — never as standalone treatment, but as measured additions to your core clinical care. Both are delivered privately, one to one, and matched to where you are in your programme.

Acupuncture is a practice rooted in Chinese medicine in which very fine, sterile needles are placed at specific points on the body. Therapeutic massage uses structured, hands-on techniques to work with muscle and soft tissue. Both are provided in private, one-to-one sessions — always as complementary support alongside your clinical programme rather than a replacement for it.
During withdrawal and early recovery, the body often carries disrupted sleep, restlessness, tension, and heightened anxiety. Acupuncture may help ease some of these symptoms and support a greater sense of calm — a complementary comfort measure, not a cure for addiction or a substitute for medical treatment.
Stress, poor sleep, and long-held physical tension are common companions in recovery. Therapeutic massage may help release muscular tension, ease physical discomfort, and support more restful sleep and a calmer nervous system.
Acupuncture and therapeutic massage are always optional and always complementary, sitting alongside — never in place of — your core clinical, psychological, and medical treatment. Dr. Lilly Blecher, a U.S.-trained naturopathic doctor and Chinese medicine practitioner, informs how these modalities are considered and woven in.
Is acupuncture or massage a treatment for addiction?
No. Both are complementary therapies that may help ease symptoms such as tension, stress, and disrupted sleep, but they do not treat addiction itself.
Will these therapies be part of my programme?
Only if they suit you. Whether acupuncture, massage, both, or neither feature in your stay is decided with your care team.
Holina Executive occupies a private estate in Cyprus, home to no more than twelve guests at a time, where complementary therapies are delivered within the same calm, unhurried setting as the rest of your care.
If you are considering recovery for yourself or someone close to you, we invite a confidential, one-to-one conversation.
